I kept coming back to the console table because it looked like it would suit my hallway, and it does. The space feels calmer in the normal flow of the house. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when the house is busy. For me, that makes the console table one of the better choices we made for my hallway.
Someone asks about this console almost every time we have people over, which still makes me smile. The setup feels less random now, even though we did not change much else. I can change smaller things around this console without feeling like the whole plan for our entryway has to change. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
