A week into living with it, I like how the center table supports the sitting area without taking over. It felt a bit more noticeable than I expected at first, but the room settled around it quickly.
Thinking about everyday use, the center table fits the living room better than something more formal would have. I was on the fence for the first day or two, and then it started to feel completely natural in the space. It has become part of the everyday rhythm of the room. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
Before this arrived, the living room felt a little unresolved; the coffee table brought the whole area together. It made the middle of the room feel finished. It feels like a keeper.
Personally, I appreciate that the center table makes the family room look finished but not overly styled. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier.
