In the overall arrangement, this has become one of those pieces I stop noticing as new because it fits our routine so well. It has become a quiet anchor for the dining space. I appreciate that the overall look is distinctive without becoming demanding. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. It makes the room feel more complete even when nothing else is changed. For me, that makes this sideboard one of the better choices we made for our living area.
I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but the sideboard made sense in our dining area right away. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and it fits the house better than I expected. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I would make the same decision for our dining area again.
