The nicest surprise is how much the center table improves the living room without drawing attention away from everything else. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier. It made the middle of the room feel finished. It has already been part of a few ordinary days and a couple of times when friends came over. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
What stands out to me is how easily the living room table settles into the living room over morning coffee. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. For us, it was the right call.
On an ordinary evening, the center table makes the den feel a little more settled and complete. It feels appropriate for real life, not just for a styled photo. It made the middle of the room feel finished. The room feels more intentional now without losing the casual atmosphere we wanted. I was trying to make the room feel edited rather than full, and this helped achieve that. It has earned its place in the room.
