Description
The Benin Throne Brown Armchair is a narrow and tall-backed derivative of the classic Peacock chair silhouette with rich brown, vivid orange and smooth silver performance rope wrapped over a bent rattan frame. This style of rattan chair has long been symbolic of royalty and empowerment, and now celebrates bohemian luxury. While this iteration is slender in scale, it's a dramatic design demanding of attention. The loose seat cushion is covered in Trevino Julep 100% silk upholstery.

Seen from different parts of the house, the chair helps the sitting area read as a more complete space. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier.

One thing I appreciate is how the accent chair gives the reading corner presence without making it feel crowded. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. It gave the corner a reason to be used. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
