It is easy to forget this chair is new because it already feels completely at home in the living room. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now. It adds just enough personality to the room. The biggest difference is the sense of balance it gives the space. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. For us, it was the right call.
Leaving the room fairly relaxed, the seating piece gives the space a more finished look without changing its character. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment.
