My first impression was good, but the seating makes even more sense after seeing it in the main sitting area every day. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now. It made the room feel more inviting for everyday life. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. I would make the same choice again.
