Global Views Diana Skirted Sofa by Ashley Childers

As part of my living room, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the seating piece does that in this room. The best part for me is that my living room still feels relaxed even with the seating piece giving it more structure.

It is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this seating piece gets that balance right.

Looking at my main sitting area now, I had been overthinking this part of the room; this sofa solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. I was hoping this sofa would pull my main sitting area together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. The overall effect in my main sitting area is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

A little time has only made me like the sofa more in my family room. The room feels more inviting during quiet evenings at home.
