For our work room, this work table turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. It has made the work corner feel like a real part of the home. My work corner now feels like part of the home instead of a temporary setup. Seeing this work table with the rest of our work room makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. My workday feels a little more settled now that the room looks intentional. The end result in our work room feels like our home, only more finished.

Here in my study, there is more cohesion in the space now, and it happened as soon as the work table went into place. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially when everything is not perfectly styled. Seeing the work table with the rest of my study makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my study.

A month later, I am even happier with how the desk works in our study. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
