A month later, I am even happier with how this console table works in our hallway. I like how this console table gives our hallway a clearer point of view without taking over. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

The piece has a little more visual presence in our hallway than I expected, but I like the room much better with it there.

I picked the console while finishing the house before the holidays, and it gave our living area exactly the settled feeling I wanted.
