I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this accent table noticeably improved the way our living room comes together. I did not need to change the rest of our living room for this accent table to make sense there. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
We had been putting off our sitting area until the rest of the house was done; the side table made the wait feel worthwhile. New spaces can feel temporary for a while, and this helped ours move past that stage. Our sitting area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
In the reading corner, I had a hard time deciding what the space was missing, and this accent table turned out to be the answer. I would make the same decision for the reading corner again.
