By evening, the dining room feels calmer and more pulled together because of this table. The rectangular shape works nicely with the way the room is laid out.
Making the open dining area feel complete took fewer changes than I expected once this dining room centerpiece was in place. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. It brought the whole dining space together. I am glad we went with it.
Before guests arrive, there is very little I feel the need to change around this dining room centerpiece in the eat-in kitchen. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment. It has been a solid addition to the room.
