Used over holiday meals, the dining room centerpiece feels like a genuine part of the eat-in kitchen rather than something decorative only. I was looking for a change I would notice every day, and this has been exactly that. It brought the whole dining space together. No regrets on this one.
Over holiday meals, I especially notice how well the table belongs in the breakfast room. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. The piece photographs well, but I actually like it more in normal everyday light. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
A week into living with it, I like how the table supports the eat-in kitchen without taking over. The overall look is polished without crossing into formal. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
