For the mood we wanted in my dining room, one addition made the space feel much less pieced together, and it was this sideboard.
Seen with the rest of my living area, I kept coming back to this sideboard because it looked like it would suit this room, and it does.
In the finished room, my favorite thing is how this credenza makes this room feel finished without making it look staged. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
In the context of my living area, the space feels much more pulled together now, and this piece is a big reason why. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. It makes the space feel intentional from the first glance without looking too perfect. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
