A few weeks in, this dresser still feels like the right decision for the primary bedroom. The space feels calmer in everyday use.
In the finished room, one addition made the room feel much less pieced together, and it was this dresser.
We do not always agree on furniture, so it was a relief that this dresser worked for both of us in our bedroom. I needed a little time to see how it fit with everything else, and now I am glad I kept the arrangement.
As part of the everyday room, it is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this piece gets that balance right. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and the space finally feels finished. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. Nothing else in the room had to be replaced for the new setup to work. The bedroom feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
