Looking at our front room now, on a normal day, this piece feels like it has always belonged in this room. I actually like it more in everyday life than I expected from looking at it on its own. What surprised me was how natural it felt with pieces we already had, especially when the house is busy. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our front room.

For the entryway, I had a hard time deciding what this room was missing, and this console turned out to be the answer. It looks intentional from different parts of the room, which was important to me. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. From different parts of the entryway, this console still feels like it belongs with everything else. I would make the same decision for the entryway again.
