To my eye in my living area, there is something nice about furniture that makes this room feel better without changing how you live in it. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and this ended up being the right direction. The case piece adds presence without making the room feel closed in. The best part for me is that my living area still feels relaxed even with the piece giving it more structure. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

My wife and I rarely agree on furniture right away, but the cabinet was an easy yes once it was in our dining room. It has become part of the room without making the space feel heavy. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our dining room.
