Among the other furniture in our dining area, it is easy to appreciate this piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the room. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. The best part for me is that our dining area still feels relaxed even with this piece giving it more structure. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
With our existing furniture around it, we use this room all the time, and the sideboard has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. The setup feels less random now, even though we did not change much else. I like that the room still feels relaxed rather than overly coordinated. The end result in my dining area feels like our home, only more finished.
