Looking at my living room now, the room finally has a focal point that still feels easy to live with. The chair looks at home in the space even when the rest of the room is being used normally. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. The visual weight feels right to me, and the room still has plenty of breathing space. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
One addition made my living room feel much less pieced together, and it was this chair.
Here in my living room, my favorite thing is how this seat makes this room feel finished without making it look staged. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
