The first reaction from my family was how complete our main dining space suddenly looked with this credenza. It feels good when a furniture choice works for the people who actually live with it. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our main dining space.

My partner was less sure about this piece than I was, but now we both agree it works in our dining area. I was concerned the room might feel too designed, but the result is still very livable. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and this ended up being the right direction. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our dining area needed.

Within our dining room, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and this sideboard works well with that idea. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. The room has a better sense of proportion to my eye now. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our dining room.
