For our main sitting area, this is the kind of furniture choice that makes the whole room feel more deliberate.
Looking at the living room now, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and this coffee table does that in the space. It fits naturally into the way we gather in the living area. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially after we stopped fussing with the arrangement. I like that the room still feels relaxed rather than overly coordinated. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and the room finally has that balance. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
The best sign is that the piece already feels like part of our regular routine in my main sitting area. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.
I had a hard time deciding what our living room was missing, and the coffee table turned out to be the answer. Seeing the coffee table with the rest of our living room makes the whole arrangement feel more connected.
