John Richard Malta Sofa

Here in my main sitting area, I was trying to keep the room comfortable rather than overly styled, and this seating piece fits that goal. The living room feels more welcoming at the end of the day.

There is something nice about furniture that makes the main sitting area feel better without changing how you live in it. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and this ended up being the right direction. It has become part of our normal evenings without making the room feel overly arranged. I was hoping this sofa would pull the main sitting area together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

This is not furniture we tiptoe around; the seating piece simply feels like part of the house now.

The funny part is that the person who questioned this choice most is now the one who compliments this seating piece. I am pleased with the decision and with how our family room came together.
