As part of our sitting area, the room feels less temporary with this seat in it. I like how this seat gives our sitting area a clearer point of view without taking over. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.
My wife and I rarely agree on furniture right away, but this chair was an easy yes once it was in our living room. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo.
