The nicest part is how naturally this credenza became part of our everyday use of our dining room. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I would make the same decision for our dining room again.
With our existing furniture around it, I had been overthinking this part of this room; this piece solved the visual problem more simply than I expected.
Instead of changing everything in our dining area, I added this sideboard, and that was enough. The dining area feels ready for both everyday meals and company now. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our dining area needed.
Within the dining room, I was aiming for understated, and this piece landed in the right place visually.
