From the doorway into our bedroom, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal this piece feels in our day-to-day life. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I was concerned the room might feel too designed, but the result is still very livable. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our bedroom.
Against what we already had, I wanted the room to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the nightstand helped with that. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I can change smaller decor around it without feeling like the room has to start over. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our primary bedroom.
In the finished room, I appreciate how the bedside table contributes to the space without competing with everything around it.
From the doorway into my bedroom, the rest of the space finally makes more sense around this piece. The space feels more mature now without losing the relaxed feeling we wanted. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
