The more we use the main dining space, the more natural this piece feels there. I would make the same decision for the main dining space again.
The piece has been easy to work into my dining area because the overall design does not feel fussy. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.
From across our dining area, the credenza gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. I like that the credenza works with what we already had in our dining area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I am pleased with the decision and with how our dining area came together.
