Here in my dining area, my favorite thing is how this sideboard makes the room feel finished without making it look staged.
After the first few days, this credenza stopped feeling new and simply started feeling right in our living area. I can change smaller things around this credenza without feeling like the whole plan for our living area has to change. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.
The room did not need a full redo; adding the sideboard was enough to make it feel considered. It makes the room feel more complete even when nothing else is changed. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially when I look at the room as a whole. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our dining room.
Most days I do not think about the furniture individually, but this credenza still makes my dining area feel more settled.
