As part of our main dining space, I notice this piece most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I notice the difference most when we are using the room normally. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our main dining space needed.
Nothing about this sideboard feels forced in our main dining space; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. It makes the room feel more complete even when nothing else is changed. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. Our main dining space feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
