When I look at our living area as a whole, I had been overthinking this part of the room; this piece solved the visual problem more simply than I expected.

This was our last purchase after repainting and rearranging our living area, and it brought everything together. The timing made the purchase feel especially memorable, but I still like it just as much in normal daily life.

For our front room, the room was close to done before, but this console gave it the last bit of direction it needed. The area used to feel like an in-between space, and now it has a clear purpose visually. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. Walking past it every day, I like the room more than I did before. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and this ended up being the right direction. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our front room needed.
