We use our hallway all the time, and this piece has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. I was hoping this piece would pull our hallway together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our hallway needed.
I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in my hallway.
The nicest part is how naturally this console became part of our everyday use of my front room.
