I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the work table does that in the home office. My workday feels a little more settled now that the room looks intentional. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the home office.

I bought the work table for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in my work room.

After living with this piece for a while, I like how natural it feels in the work corner. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially when the room is being used normally. The overall effect in the work corner is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
