Walking into the foyer, I notice the space feels much more complete with this accent console there.
At our house, the console table has blended into the living room much faster than I expected. The first placement did not quite work for me, but moving it slightly made a big difference. It finished the space without adding visual clutter. I would make the same choice again.
Under normal evening light, the entryway table still feels like the right choice for the foyer. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It brought some structure to a spot that felt unfinished. It turned out to be exactly the kind of update we needed.
A week into living with it, I like how the console table supports the entryway without taking over. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
