With everything else left as it was, this bedside table has a natural place in this room now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I like that this bedside table works with what we already had in our bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. There is enough character to notice without making the space feel busy. For me, that makes this bedside table one of the better choices we made for our bedroom.
As part of our bedside area, I had a hard time deciding what the room was missing, and this piece turned out to be the answer. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when the room is being used normally. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I would make the same decision for our bedside area again.
