From one side of the guest bedroom to the other, the more we use this room, the more natural this bed feels there. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. The room looks intentional without feeling arranged for a photo. The end result in the guest bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.
With our existing furniture around it, it has been a quiet upgrade to this room and one we appreciate more in daily use than we expected. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and this ended up being the right direction. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.
My husband thought we could leave our bedroom as it was, but even he admits the piece made the setup better. Nobody treats the room like a showroom, and the piece still looks right in real life.
