The longer it stays in the living room, the more natural this end table feels with everything around it. I was looking for a change I would notice every day, and this has been exactly that. It made the corner feel intentional. Very happy with how it has worked out.
After a few ordinary days, the end table stopped feeling new and simply started feeling right in the reading corner. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
What I keep noticing is how easily the accent table settles into the reading corner during reading at night. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now.
