In the hallway, the piece has been easy to work into the space because the overall design does not feel fussy. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and the room feels more settled. It brings a little more structure to the room without making the arrangement feel rigid. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

I wanted our hallway to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and this piece helped with that. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and the space finally feels finished. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
