I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this piece made sense in my open living space right away.
After moving, our sitting room was the space that felt least complete, and this piece changed that.
For my dining area, the room feels less temporary with this piece in it. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for my dining area has to change. I spent a lot of time comparing options and am glad I did not rush the decision. From different parts of my dining area, this piece still feels like it belongs with everything else. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
