I wanted our dining room ready before family came to stay, and this credenza pulled the space together in time. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.
Within our dining room, there is more cohesion in this room now, and it happened as soon as the credenza went into place. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. The best part for me is that our dining room still feels relaxed even with the credenza giving it more structure. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
What I like most about this credenza is how naturally it belongs in our dining room. The room has a better sense of proportion to my eye now.
In our main dining space, I kept coming back to this credenza because it looked like it would suit the room, and it does. This credenza is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
