During a weekend reset, I realized how much this sideboard contributes to the balance of the dining room. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. It works nicely when we have people over. The piece photographs well, but I actually like it more in normal everyday light. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
During a weekend reset, I realized how much this sideboard contributes to the balance of the breakfast room. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now. It gave the dining area a proper focal point. The biggest difference is the sense of balance it gives the space. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I am glad we went with it.
For ordinary weekdays, this dining room piece has made the open dining area feel easier and more finished. I would still give it four stars only because it took some experimenting to get the room balanced around it. It gave the dining area a proper focal point. It has made ordinary routines in the room feel a little more comfortable and put together. It has been a solid addition to the room.
