For this part of the house, the room was close to done before, but this bed gave it the last bit of direction it needed. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable.
As part of the everyday room, the piece fits the pace of everyday life in this room better than I expected. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this bedroom piece is part of our primary bedroom. I am pleased with the decision and with how our primary bedroom came together.
For the house we actually live in, the room did not need a full redo; adding this piece was enough to make it feel considered. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially when the room is being used normally. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
