Living with it day to day, I have come to appreciate how quietly the dining room centerpiece improves the eat-in kitchen. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. I was more interested in how the room would feel after a few weeks than in the first five minutes. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
Once it was in the eat-in kitchen, the dining table made the rest of the space feel much more deliberate. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. I am glad we went with it.
