For the house we actually live in, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal the nightstand feels in our day-to-day life. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
Even with the rest of our primary bedroom unchanged, this nightstand made the setup feel more complete. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when everything is not perfectly styled. I was hoping this nightstand would pull our primary bedroom together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our primary bedroom.
