With everything else left as it was, I appreciate how the bedside table contributes to the room without competing with everything around it. As a piece of the overall room, living with this nightstand day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the space finally feels finished. It made a surprisingly big difference to the way the bedroom reads as a whole. The bedside area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
