Watching the room come together, this dining room centerpiece was the point when the open dining area finally started to feel finished. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it.
I was looking for one piece to settle the open dining area, and this dining room centerpiece ended up doing exactly that. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now. It brought the whole dining space together. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. I also like that it still looks good when the room is being used normally and not perfectly styled. I am pleased with the decision.
When the open dining area is in everyday use, this dining room centerpiece feels especially natural in the space. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now.
