For our dining room, the sideboard turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. The best part for me is that our dining room still feels relaxed even with the sideboard giving it more structure. I like that the sideboard works with what we already had in our dining room instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our dining room.
