From across the sitting area, the center table gives the space a much better sense of balance.
Without changing anything else, this living room table made the family room feel more edited and complete.
Placed in the den, the center table immediately gave the area a calmer and more finished direction. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. It works well with the way we actually use the living room. On busy days I barely notice it, but the room would definitely feel less complete without it. It feels like a keeper.
With the room actually being lived in, this coffee table still feels polished without seeming too formal. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier. It pulled the seating area together right away. No regrets on this one.
