When things are busy at home, this dining room centerpiece still feels like a natural part of the open dining area rather than a display piece. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. It brought the whole dining space together. It feels like a keeper.
At first glance, I liked the table, but living with it in the open dining area is what really sold me.
Most days, the dining table simply feels like it belongs in the breakfast room, which is exactly what I wanted. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over. I am glad we went with it.
