Paired with the furniture we already owned, this dining table makes the eat-in kitchen feel collected rather than matched. It took me a little while to find the placement I liked best, but now the room feels right. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. A family member asked what we had changed because the whole area looked more pulled together. The piece photographs well, but I actually like it more in normal everyday light. It has been a solid addition to the room.
While finishing the dining room, I kept coming back to this dining room centerpiece, and it turned out to be the right call. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier. For us, it was the right call.
