To my eye in my entryway, the room did not need a full redo; adding this console was enough to make it feel considered.
As part of our entryway, the room feels less temporary with this piece in it. The best part for me is that our entryway still feels relaxed even with this piece giving it more structure. I am pleased with the decision and with how our entryway came together.
In the context of our hallway, instead of changing everything in the room, I added the console, and that was enough. The end result in our hallway feels like our home, only more finished.
For this part of the house, most days I do not think about the furniture individually, but this console table still makes the room feel more settled. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and the space finally feels finished. My living area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
