- Sligh Studio Designs is a unique assortment of consoles and desks comprised of an exceptional array of design and custom finishes.
- The concept behind the TV consoles was to create a collection through which we could design distinctive pieces that highlight furniture as the room's statement piece rather than the electronic equipment.
- The new home office is a stylish extension of one's interior decor and a room that directly reflects the personality of its occupant.
- The desks blend the form and fucntion for which Sligh is known, with an inspiring dose of designer style and color.
- Decorative metal bases feature polished stainless steel and antique brass.
- Tops showcase red lacquer, rosewood, a custom parchment finish and sea mist faux Shagreen leather.
- The 78-inch media console has four doors with raised contemporary molding that frames a signature piece of custom hardware with a distinctive concave silhouette.
- Behind each of the door compartments is one adjustable shelf.
- This design functions equally well as an office credenza.
- The back panel is ventilated to accommodate electronics.

In the home — Designed to live quietly within a room.

I appreciate how this console table contributes to my entryway without competing with everything around it. The area feels intentional now instead of like a pass-through. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and the room feels easier on the eye. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my entryway.
From the doorway into our hallway, the piece fits the pace of everyday life in the room better than I expected. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I did not need to change the rest of our hallway for this console table to make sense there. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
From the doorway into my living area, this console works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy.
In the overall arrangement, I was trying to keep the room comfortable rather than overly styled, and the console fits that goal. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and the space finally feels finished. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I spent a lot of time comparing options and am glad I did not rush the decision. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
